Anyone cracked the IE 10 and 11 Windows error with Google Toolbar Button Gallery/Add a Custom Button yet? I've seen this on other forums, and since it is working fine on my Windows 7 IE, it must be an issue with Windows 10. This is a brand new build, with Windows 10 Home 64 Bit, with Intel 5930K CPU, 16Gb RAM, EVGA 970GTX SC and no touch screen.
Not a fan of edge yet as it is still missing key ingredients. I use other browsers occasionally, but old school I'm used to IE. So, on a fresh build and new install of Windows 10, and IE 11, I installed the google toolbar. When I try to add custom buttons as I am used to doing (not the favorites bar in IE, but the google toolbar itself) whether through the blue cross button, or while using the google wrench on the right, I open up the 'add buttons to your toolbar'. None of the 'new' buttons are showing up with their indigenous emblems, but rather a blue circle. When I click on a particular tool button Windows returns this error:
Aug 08, 2019 The Mac App Store is full of all manner of apps, from simple utilities to complex programs. New apps are published every day, making it hard to find the best of the best — which is where we come in. We've gathered the best free apps for the Mac, all. 30 free macOS apps every Mac user should have. Unless you opt for the $5 pro version, you’ll have to deal with the occasional ad, but it’s an indispensable tool nonetheless. Macbook pro apps free.
'Google Tool Bar Custom Installer
X (white with red circle around it) Information unavailable
The custom button is missing a title.
Then comes a long URL that differs only by name of button, e.g.
The button is missing a title.'
Select any button from either the blue cross option or the wrench, substitute the app's name in the url section and this is the same error message for all buttons (except predetermined ones like YouTube which you can get through the google wrench).
Also, when you use the google wrench to access options, and click on custom buttons, near the bottom I noticed the 'Button Gallery' and I try to edit that button. It gives an option to update the button which comes up with the red, yellow, and blue icon instead of the blue cross. When I click Update, the blue cross blinks and that is it. Is something stuck there?
And finally, when I go to Google Toolbar Help, the help page with G+ says the browser version is not supported (which it should be).
Thanks for any and all help!
