Sep 14, 2019  Windows 10 display/battery driver issues Hi all, I recently converted an old Lenovo T410 into a retro gaming machine, as a side I added windows 10 to a separate partition for ease of use when doing work type stuff. I'm currently based away from home and my connection out here is horrific, beyond terrible, updating nayhting is a royal pain. I Cannot find any drivers by Lenovo for my graphics driver supposedly by Lenovo its intel hd 4000 but when I get the 4000 driver it says my system does not meet the minimum requirements for the software. And my GPU says in the intel options 'Intel(R) HD Graphics (Core i5)' wtf is that suppose to mean? And games like minecraft they say pixel format not accelerated and needs to have the gpu. Aug 10, 2017  I have a T410, ID 2522-22U. I upgraded to windows 10 with seeming success. My display adapter is Intel HD Graphics and works well. My question is: the Windows 10 that installed is 32-bit but I have an x64 based processor. The 32-bit OS will not utilize 8GB RAM but the T410 will take it.

I'm currently based away from home and my connection out here is horrific, beyond terrible, updating nayhting is a royal pain. On my windows 10 installation I seem to be missing a few drivers/having a few problems: -

My monitor is capable of 1440x900, and boy is it annoying as all hell to not be able to set it to that. Especially as my unsupported/obsolete OS of windows XP displays in 1440x900 just fine. The max I can set it to is 1280x800.

A few things I've tried: -

editing the registry to give default X and Y sizes

uninstalling the monitor adapter

T410

checking 'list all modes' in adapter settings

Noblet clarinet review. NORMANDY 8The Model 8 was introduced by 1966 as a replacement for the Model 6 and, likethe Model 6, was the lowest-priced wooden Normandy.

installing a third party app (which coincidentally recognises the monitor can do 1440x900 but will not let me set it to that.)

checking the manufacturers website and trying EVERY windows version of the driver.

installing third party infs configured to only give me 1440x900 resolution.

Is anyone able to point me in the right direction for which specific windows 10 updates I need (in order to save bandwidth) to be able to select my appropriate resolution? (I already have a link to the microsoft updates catalog.)

The second problem is the battery refusing to charge, again a few things I've tried: -

Lenovo T410 Graphics Drivers Windows 10 64 Bit

Check the battery itself according the the manufacturers manual, it is fully functional

Checking the charger, again fully functional.

Cleaning all connections on the laptop and battery

uninstalling the ACPI battery management driver from device manager.

Once more though all this in vain. What I'd love to be able to do here is google the device ID and the first result being the driver from the microsoft catalogue for each device. That would make far too much sense and be way too easy though wouldn't it?
