Db2jcc from group com.ibm.db2.jcc (version db2jcc4) IBM Data Server Driver for JDBC and SQLJ is a pure-Java driver (Type 4) that supports the JDBC 4 specification. You can use this JDBC driver for Java applications that access the Db2® LUW database server. Assuming you have all the prerequisites installed you can run the program either directly from eclipse or just download the JAR file and go 'java -jar jarfile.jar' Tell your navigation software/whatever to connect to port 2222 of your machine. NMEA 0183 sentences are sent out from the simulation on port 2222.
This license JAR file is required when connecting to a mainframe DB2 database (i.e. DB2 for z/OS, DB2 for iSeries, DB2 for VM/VSE). This is not a free JAR file, you must purchase the DB2 Connect product and the license file is contained within the activation package for it. Derby 10.5.2.0 was removed from the website because of a wrong results regression bug (DERBY-4331). Its replacement release, 10.5.3.0, includes the other fixes listed in the 10.5.2.0 release notes. Db2jcc.jar - This driver is based on the JDBC 3 specification; db2jcc4.jar - This driver is based on the JDBC 4 or later specifications; The db2jcc.jar driver is now deprecated. After version 3.72, which is delivered with DB2 Version 11.1 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows Mod 1 Fix Pack 1, db2jcc.jar will include no new features.
